BFHHH was founded November 28, 1998 by a small group of Tucson hashers visiting Boulder. They found no hashes scheduled, so recruited some local ultimate frisbee enthusiasts and made their own. They used a format which borrowed heavily from the Jhavelina HHH and Arizona Larrikans Presents the Mr Happy's Pickup HHH, a format which stresses intricate trails with a wide variety of symbols and lengthy down-downs with lots of singing. It didn't take long to convince the Tucson expatriots to move to Boulder, and the Flatlanders have been hashing biweekly ever since. |
